What you need to snug and warm this skiing season... ( can also apply to the cold British winter..!!)

So you are planning on going skiing or snowboarding this winter. What do you take with you to ensure you stay warm this coming season? I would definitely recommend a buying a leather hat - specifically the trapper style - sometimes called a pilot hat. These hats are inspired by classic aviator hats and have become the go-to style for skiers and snowboarders over the past few years. Hats lined with fur with side flaps that can be worn down over the ears for extra warmth or buckled over the top out of the way. With this hat you'll stay nice and warm but look super cool! So you are heading out for a day on the piste, what about some hand or body warmers. At D2D we are often asked if we stock ugg boots. Well, we do sell Ugg boots, but not UGG boots. The difference is all in the capital letters. At D2D we stock twin-faced sheepskin boots and ‘ugg’, or ‘ugh’ as it is sometimes spelt, is a generic term for this style of Australian footwear, originally worn by surfers to keep their feet warm after coming in from the ocean. However, the UGG Australia brand of ugg boots is a registered trademark of the US company, Deckers Outdoor Corporation. At D2D we do not stock the UGG Australia brand. Instead we import genuine Australian boots from Wombat and Ewe by Gumbies.
